I’m Mackenzie
I am the woman behind the camera here. I have been close with the art of photography since I was a little kid. Black and white film was a love language in our household. My Mom always had a disposable in her purse, we had shoeboxes overflowing with film prints tucked away in any drawer or cabinet you might open in the living room. Photography was like a ritual for me. And it was also something I would do in my alone time for fun. Over the years, I dove deeper into learning how to use a camera through school, creative projects, and working with small businesses on content and visuals. But It wasn’t until I moved to Colorado that everything came full circle.
Photographing weddings allows me to blend all the things I love—storytelling, emotion, art, and connection. It’s where the technical side of photography meets real, unscripted human moments, and that balance is what keeps me inspired.
I see each wedding as a kind of mission: to collect everything beautiful and meaningful through my lens. The big emotions, the quiet glances, the in-between moments you might not even notice in real time—I’m always looking for them. Every wedding has its own rhythm and energy, and my job is to tune into that and preserve it in a way that feels true to you.
I hope that working with me feels easy. I will give you all the direction that you need, but what I want more than anything is for you to feel like yourselves and have fun with the process.
